CONCEPT:
Played before every home game in Seattle, the Land Acknowledgement recognizes that the Kraken play on the homelands of the Coast Salish peoples.
The video was a collaboration between the Kraken and Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. It depicts tribal members playing hockey in the forest, using nets that were handwoven, specifically for the shoot. Lushootseed, the native language of Muckleshoot, is spoken throughout.
